Amana UK Start-up Fund
Amana UK is committed to supporting the young people who graduate from the sponsorship programme to gain employment and support themselves and their families. Competition for jobs in uganda is extreamely high and so often further education and training is needed in order to gain good employment. Therefore as a charity we have set up a start-up fund to which the graduating young people can apply to enable them to buy some equipment that will help them to gain employment or continue with further education.

Laptops to help graduating young people to study at university
Sewing machines to enable young people who have completed vocational training in fashion and design to set up their own business making and selling clothes.
Pay the fees for an intern year so that young people who have completed a nursing course can become fully qualified.
